Hello everyone! Thank you for joining Give A Spit Club! You are now officially part of blood cancer patients’ cure.
This page will keep you all up to date about club happenings, fundraisers, and other fun club stuff.
Our first meeting will be on October 8th at 2:20pm right after school in Mrs. Barnych’s room (math wing).
We will be discussing about our club goals and brainstorm fundraising ideas. In addition, we will talk about club shirts and positions open to run for.
*Elections will take place at this club meeting. If you are running, please contact me so we have an idea of who’s running, and give you an outline of your speech.*
Positions open are: Treasurer, Media Coordinator, and there is a separate media committee (open to anyone; no elections) in which the media coordinator will advise. Towards the middle of the school year, there will be a marketing committee (open to anyone; no elections) that will help with our fundraiser planning for the end of year race fundraiser. A Marketing Coordinator will lead the committee (elections). We will make more positions if necessary. Please join the committees for more involvement with this club!
It’s not “official” yet but we are planning on having a huge race as a end of year project for a fundraiser. This will earn a lot of money that will be donated for Be The Match organization. Planning will take 2-3 months and the day of the race will be extremely fun if we all put effort into make a fantastic race/fundraiser!!!
